Finland School Stabbing
Finland School Stabbing Three girls under the age of 15 were injured on Tuesday in a stabbing at the Vähäjärvi school in Pirkkala, which the police are investigating as three attempted murders. According to the police, the victims' injuries were caused with a bladed weapon. According to current information, the victims are not in danger of death and have been taken for further treatment. The police received a report of an act of violence at the school at 10.42 a.m. through the Emergency Response Centre. The police apprehended an underage boy on suspicion of attempted murder in a market square near the school. The suspect was apprehended shortly after the first emergency response centre calls. The suspect and the victims are students at the school. Approximately 1,250 children and young people study at Vähäjärvi School. It includes primary and secondary school, i.e. grades 0–9.
