Re: FATAL: US Airmen Killed After Opening Door with Gun
Agreed, no argument here. And, I'll be the first person to call out a cop's bad tactics and poor judgement. Although experience, training and muscle memory has a lot to do with it, you just can't do a lot to prepare for the fear factor and human instinct in every unique scenario a cop may encounter. It's like trying to teach someone not to flinch when surprised. It's easy to watch slomo cop-cam instant replays and criticize a cop's instinctive judgement that he made in fractions of a second unless you've actually walked in his shoes. You have to weigh the totality of the circumstances. Don't hate the player, hate the game... |

Re: FATAL: US Airmen Killed After Opening Door with Gun
So anyone who comes to your door shouting police is to be automatically assumed to be just that? The right to bear arms...unless a cop sees you with it. Then you die. Also cops don't always settle. That's a dumb thing to say. There are actually plenty of cases they have fought and won. Much like disney they only settle when the probability is a loss. |

Soldiers can't fire until fired on. Cops are just pussies with a badge and free reign to murder.

Re: FATAL: US Airmen Killed After Opening Door with Gun
Lol, I can buy a uniform, dress up like a cop, and claim to be an LEO and half the bootlickers on here would be like "Oh gee willickers, better tie myself into a pretzel before I answer the door to make sure this individual I've never seen before feels safe!" Before I rob you blind and sell your kids to whoever bids first in the government. Just saying, it's too easy to fake being a cop. If I'm already planning on stealing your shit with you in the house, does it matter if I catch another charge for impersonation? Get a clue, people. |

Yep. No backup, no cover. He was in a sitting duck situation and I'm sure he had no desire to go over that 4th floor railing... FYI, this break down of the incident is spot on. |

Re: FATAL: US Airmen Killed After Opening Door with Gun
My favorite cop-kill-da-bad-guy-holding-a-gun video on here was the one with the two animetards who were stoners detained on a traffic stop. The guy was so stoned he probably said to his buddy beside him, "I better give him dis gun, dude. I don't wanna get in no trouble for not complying." Then he exited the vehicle with the gun and was promptly shot to death I still don't believe people should be shot on sight by cops just for holding a handgun typically used in home protection and should be given at least some warning to drop the weapon unless they're in a threatening stance. Holding an assault rifle while answering cops at the door or in a car might be a different story, however, at least 2 cops I've seen in videos here were killed because the guy was handling and/or reached for his AR-15. But those two animetards (and you just know they were the type to use waifus in their avatars on forums |
