FATAL: Suicidal Guy Takes Off, Calls 911 Threating to Kill Police; Gets Killed
Nekimi, Wisconsin — On Friday, February 2, 2024, at approximately 9:40pm, Sergeant (Sgt.) Bryce LaLuzerne of the North Fond Du Lac Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the Village of North Fond Du Lac. The sole occupant was later identified as 36-year-old Lawrence Drennan. After contacting Drennan, Sgt. LaLuzerne suspected impairment and requested Drennan to exit the vehicle. Drennan refused and fled the traffic stop in the vehicle. Sgt. LaLuzerne returned to his patrol vehicle and pursued after Drennan and vehicle. The pursuit entered Interstate 41 (I-41) and went north toward Winnebago County. NFPD personnel attempted boxing maneuvers, but Drennan was able to evade the maneuvers. At some point during the pursuit, Drennan called 911 and advised that he had a firearm and indicated that he would use the firearm against law enforcement if stopped. This information was relayed to the pursuing law enforcement personnel. After the pursuit entered Winnebago County, a member from the FDSO was able to deploy a tire deflation device (TDD) and Drennan’s vehicle ran the TDD over. Shortly after, Drennan’s vehicle veered east off of I-41 into the ditch, went through a fence in the ditch, crossed the frontage road, and came to rest facing north on the east shoulder of the frontage road (Black Oak School Road). Law enforcement took up positions on I-41 with weapons drawn. Drennan exited the vehicle and had been concealing his hands and acting erratically. Law enforcement was giving commands to Drennan, but Drennan was not complying, and threaten the use of a firearm against law enforcement. Drennan returned to his vehicle and then came back out, concealing at least one of his hands behind his back. Drennan again did not comply with law enforcement commands and began crossing the frontage road, while yelling and walking west toward the law enforcement personnel. Drennan entered the ditch, separating the frontage road and I-41, and was still moving west toward the officers. Drennan began gaining momentum while still concealing at least one hand. As Drennan got closer to the fence in the ditch, Sgt. LaLuzerne discharged his patrol rifle at Drennan, causing him to fall to the ground. Medical intervention was provided but Drennan was pronounced deceased at the scene. Law enforcement was uninjured, and no weapons were located within the vicinity of Drennan. |

Re: FATAL: Suicidal Guy Takes Off, Calls 911 Threating to Kill Police; Gets Killed
Can't speak for everyone but in my opinion I come here to see videos they won't show on youtube. They've become so ridiculous with their censorship, I want to see videos they don't have their editing fingers on saying this is what we can see & can't.
