FATAL: Police Kill Man Who Dropped His Gun
September 15, 2020. Denver police were dispatched to a druken man who had dropped his gun while in a argument. When contacted by Cpl. Kress & Officer Liss, McPherson raised his hands and then went to reach for his gun on his waistband. McPherson was shot several times and was sent to the hospital where he was declared dead.

This may be the first time I have seen a fatally shot subject put his hands up in response to police orders, following the shooting.
