End of a Car Chase, Finland
Downtown Helsinki took place crazy chase, witch was attended by a numerous police patrols. The pursuit began in Tapiola, Espoo, when the car driver did not comply with the police stop sign. During chase escaper crashed with several times to other cars, was driving the oncoming lane and pedestrian and cycle routes. Police estimate that hundreds of people was in danger. Finally escapers needed to stop cuz there was road barriers and lots of people in front of escape route. Earlier runner was driving around 180 km h (112 mph). Police caught man, born 1976 and woman, born 1972. Getaway car, a green Audi 100, was equipped with false number plates. ----- Thats pretty poor google translation. Nothing big here, just a stop. |
