Drunk Fueled Argument Results in Shooting His Companion in Billiard Hall
Brazil. A shooting in Montero on Good Friday morning, left a man seriously injured after being shot three times in the abdomen inside a billiards hall. Police have launched an operation to find the perpetrator, who remains at large. The incident occurred at the "El Monarca" billiards hall, located on Prolongación Potosí street in the Portugal neighborhood. According to the report from the Special Force for the Fight Against Crime (FELCC), the incident stemmed from an argument between two friends who had been drinking alcohol since the early morning hours. According to the manager of the establishment, the two men began to argue and then separated. However, one of them, identified as Luis Miguel A.V, left the premises and returned minutes later armed, at which point he shot his companion, 38-year-old J.H, before fleeing. Security camera footage captured the sequence: the assailant entered the establishment, pushed the victim, and fired several shots in front of five other customers. Witnesses reported that, after the attack, the man was pushed out by another person, allowing him to escape. The injured man was assisted by paramedics and initially taken to the Orellana private clinic, where he underwent emergency surgery. The medical diagnosis indicates a penetrating gunshot wound to the thoracoabdomen, with one entry wound in the abdominal region and two exit wounds in the chest. As part of the investigation, the Criminal Analysis and Intelligence Division (DACI) obtained images of the alleged perpetrator, preliminarily identified as Luis Miguel, alias “El Pato.” Police deployed operations in the Northern Integrated Zone to locate him. Preliminary reports from authorities suggest the attack stemmed from a dispute between the two individuals involved, though they do not rule out new findings that may emerge during the investigation. The incident alarmed residents of the area, who are demanding increased police presence and control in response to episodes of violence in public spaces, even during the day. Meanwhile, the FELCC (Special Force to Combat Crime) continues to gather evidence and testimonies to clarify what happened. |

Re: Drunk Fueled Argument Results in Shooting His Companion in Billiard Hall
A guy walks into a bar in Sao Paulo, and orders a sangria. The bartender says: "We only serve shots here, my supplier could be by anytime now..." Being drunk during the commission of a crime should be a crime itself, not unakin to using a gun or knife, or other parallel 'add-on' crimes such as unlawful detention, assault causing bodily harm, etc. Armed + alcohol + stupid enough to do something like this (in public) under ANY circumstances, = humans at their refreshingly most honest. :P |
