Drone Drops Explosive on a House in Filo El Gringo, Catatumbo, Colombia, 2025
A drone dropped an explosive onto a house in Filo El Gringo, a corregimiento of El Tarra in Colombia's Norte de Santander department. One video shows an aerial view of the terraced mountainside settlement, its dirt roads and a vehicle lot. Other footage shows severe blast damage inside a two-story building, debris across a forecourt and a wrecked shop interior. Residents gathered near a blood pool, shattered glass, damaged paneling and a mangled metal fragment beside a turquoise pillar. The Catatumbo region has seen fighting between the National Liberation Army and FARC dissident fronts since January 2025. |

I believe Northern Santander is in Columbia, South America. I don’t think there are many Ukrainians in FARC. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – People's Army was a Marxist–Leninist guerrilla group involved in the continuing Colombian conflict starting in 1964.
