Dec 20, 2012. Two robbers were caught on cctv robbing a local snack bar in the Netherlands.

The snack bar is owned by a Chinese couple.

The robbers entered the snack bar just before 11 PM with plastic bags covering their heads. They threatened the owner with a knife and demanding money.

The Chinese women didn't hesitate to throw boiling hot frying oil on 1 of the robbers, while her husband tried to keep the robbers away from the cash register with a broom.

A customer took a chair and hit 1 of the men with it while his pants dropped to the floor.

The robbers quickly aborted the robbery and got away while slipping on the oily floor.

The police is still looking for the suspects

So great on so many levels.

First off, dumb move by the robbers. Trying to rob a snack bar with a knife? How much money did they really expect to get anyway?

Secondly, Power move by the old guy picking up the chair and getting in a pretty good 1st shot. He was going pretty strong with the chair but unfortunately, his pants hit the floor and prevented him from going for the kill while the robber was down.

Even more of a power move by the shop owners though. Throwing hot oil on them? That's something I probably wouldn't have considered doing, but well played nonetheless.

The cartoonlike "robber's feet moving fast but not getting any traction" part at the end is pretty funny too.

Almost as funny as this vid.
