A Nebraska sheriff's deputy leaps into action to stop a runaway truck after the driver fell ill at the wheel.
Dashcam footage shows the moment the officer leaps out of a police car and hitches himself up on the out-of-control vehicle in an attempt to bring it to a halt.
The incident occurred on December 2 in Madison County, Nebraska after police received a 911 call about a reckless driver behind the wheel of a huge truck.
The driver of the truck reportedly suffered from a 'diabetic episode' but had not realised he was diabetic before the incident.
He was given glucose by paramedics before being taken to hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.
