In Response To: THE DEPUTY'S NAME IS PAUL SCHENE (J) -The 2006 fatal shooting, Deputy Sheriff Paul Schene shot and killed a “mentally challenged” citizen by the name of Pedro Yo. DS Schene stated that he had no choice because he was “bitten” and “scratched” due to being attacked by Mr. Yo. There was Massive outcry from the public once the full facts of the case were reviled beyond just the public story which only reported what the officer said.
Facts: Deputy Schene stated he was attacked due to the suspect (Pedro Yo) attacking him after being pulled over for a traffic stop. Attack was stated to have taken place outside the vehicles.

-Pedro Yo (mental challenged citizen) was not armed
-Deputy admitted that at no time did Pedro Yo try to gain control of the officer’s weapon and was only trying to “get away”
-Pedro Yo got back to his car but never had a chance to place it in drive as he was shot 11 times in the back of the head and back of the torso; coroner report stated he died instantaneous.
-At no time was Deputy Schene in danger of being run over, in fact Deputy Schene fired his weapon from 12 feet from the his police car as the suspect (Pedro Yo) was entering his car.
-Suspect (Pedro Yo) was initially pulled over for a simple traffic stop, driving “erratically”.
-Suspect (Pedro Yo) was not wanted for any crime.
-Pedro was arrested before for shoplifting. It was stated by court professionals in court that he had no concept as normal people do in relation to “paying for items in a store” or “money in itself for others paid for his necessities. Charges were dropped in the two cases filed.

-Pedro Yo “dream” was to be a teacher to repay others for helping him “understand the world around him and for people being so kind”.

i think she deserved it, sorry....teens have zero respect for authorities or adults these days.......maybe if teens realize there will be consequences for mouthing off or "kicking off" their shoes at the police, expect a beatdown!!
