The robbery was caught on a security tape at the Quick Trip at 1910 Lawrenceville Highway around 5 a.m. on Feb. 21, according to police.
DeKalb police are seeking the public’s assistance in helping to locate the man who robbed a Lawrenceville Highway Quick Trip with a tire iron Feb. 21.
The suspect barely waved the “weapon” at the Quick Trip cashier before reaching over the counter and snatching the cash drawer from the register.
“Open the drawer, and nothing’s going to happen,” he said. “You gonna give me the cash, you gonna give me some trouble.”
But the feisty cashier held her own, telling him, “You ain’t gonna get all of this cash!”
The robber — described as a white male approximately 5’6” and 160 pounds with a mustache — took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store.
Investigators believe he’s a regular customer at the store.
