Dazzo's Italian Castle Pizzeria Smash 'n Grab Robbery

June 15 2009 Police have arrested a suspect in a pizzeria smash 'n grab robbery, after the entire robbery was caught on tape.

Luke Donald LaValley, 45, is charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft in the Dazzo's Italian Castle break-in.


Surveillance cameras outside the business showed a burglar trying to kick in the glass door, then using an object to break in.

Interior surveillance cameras showed the burglar looking for cash, then spotting the cash register.

The burglar bashed it against the floor, then ran off with cash in hand.

LaValley is held in the Knox County jail under a $6500 bond.

He was taken into custody without incident.
