Typical bailiffs...nobody's in a hurry and they're all over sixty or crippled up in some way. As far as the use of force...absolutely textbook for a court room setting.

guy lived... and the balliff didnt feel the need to show you the taser... not shure why... u seem important enough that he should have shown it to you.. acually the guy who did the tazerin was the black balliff and u do clearly see him with the gun.. everyone is silent cuz that sort of court drama only happens on T.V. reality show... they were in a bit of shock

The bad guy is belly chained, handcuffed, and ankle chained. Once he's on the ground, he's not getting up without help. In some jurisdictions when they Taze someone they are required by policy to request fire/paramedics to remove the darts and make sure the bad guy hasn't been injured. It was like that in my agency when we first received our Tazers. After a while and a shit ton of fire/paramedic calls for basically nothing, they changed the policy and we could remove the darts and put a bandaid on the hole ourselves. Unless the bad guy said he was injured, we didn't need to call for paramedics. It just depends on the local policies.

I love technology. We'd probably all be crying foul if the bailiff had to shoot this guy. But with such a perfect animal control weapon as the Taser, we can all watch a lunatic being made compliant and hasslefree without having to finish him off.

In some court rooms they use a shock belt. The bailiff has a remote control and can shock the bad guy/defendant when it's necessary. I just love inventions like that. |
