Lincoln County, Tennessee, On Sunday, March 7th a couple walked up to a red SUV on a car lot on 231/431, and broke into it and stole the radio.
That may sound like a run of the mill crime, until you look at the video.
The couple had two children with them, watching the crime happen right in front of them.
Based on the video, the children appear to be a boy and a girl, under 12 years old.
"These parents pulled up, and got their children out of the car, and went and broke into a vehicle while the children watched." local sheriff Blackwelder says, still in disbelief.
"It's not about the radio. It's not about the car. It's about the simple fact that these children deserve a better set of parents than the parents that they have in this video."
Sheriff Blackwelder says he's hoping people will see it, and respond.
"Parents are supposed to be role models.
They're supposed to teach their children right from wrong, and if a child stand there and watches daddy break into a car and steal stuff he's probably going to grow up thinking that's okay."
