Cops Trade Shots With Armed Arsonist

This compilation of bodycam and dashcam footage comes from St. Louis County, Minnesota, and shows local police responding to an armed arsonist. Firemen attempting to put out the several fires started by the suspect came under fire, who was observed riding a lawnmower with a home-built "rifle-like weapon". When the police attempted to intervene, they were fired upon as well, resulting in an exchange of gunfire which killed the suspect. Viewer discretion is advised.

Adam Clinton Wolf, 57 years of age, was spotted setting fire to his home, as well as those of his neighbors, on July 15, 2025. As the fire crew came to extinguish the fire, Wolf fired at a fireman as well as a responding police officer before fleeing.

St. Louis Co. Deputies arrived on-scene and began searching for the suspect, who fired upon them as well. The Deputies returned fire, fatally wounding Wolf. Although medical aid was rendered, he was pronounced deceased. His ersatz long gun was recovered, as were several shotgun-like devices from his home.

Re: Cops Trade Shots With Armed Arsonist

Wolf had a documented history of disputes with neighbors in Normanna Township dating back to 2020.

Court records indicate multiple harassment petitions filed by neighbors against him, with Wolf also filing counter-petitions.

He faced charges for violating harassment orders, including a felony charge in October 2024 for yelling homophobic slurs. One neighbor, Dennis Gunsolus, described Wolf as a problematic figure in the community, predicting such an incident.

He briefly served in the Army after high school and had a career with UPS, where he represented the Teamsters as a Union Delegate.

He attended Dakota Technical College in Winona, earning a CDL license and teaching others to do the same. Wolf ran his own trucking company and was skilled in carpentry.

His hobbies included archery, bodybuilding, cycling, and creating a law and religion library. He also started a business, Duluth Dog, making handmade dog bandanas.

Wolf is survived by his parents, sister, nieces, nephews, two wives (Pamela Casson and Kari Wolf), grandchildren, and his dog, Lucy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, daughter, and several relatives.
