And taking her down, she still could have hit the concrete hard and been injured likewise. Cop did what he had to do; took down a *criminal* whilst not injuring himself. Glad he didn't get busted, and glad that retarded girl is no longer a threat to anyone. Pity she's now a waste of taxpayer money being a vegetable in some hospital though.

I normally defend the police in almost every situation. Not so sure I can in this case. I am the first to say listen and be respectful and you will have no issues with the police. But that cop easily could have chased her down and caught her.

Hard to believe the posts in this thread--So the girl somehow deserved to become a vegetable because she ran from the pig? I'm speechless at this retarded reasoning. The pig was absolutely in the wrong for tasering someone in the back while they are running away--especially on concrete. Maybe when the pigs practice on each other they can try this technique on concrete instead of gym mat pads? Of course they won't, because someone might get hurt. this pig deserves to die in a fire--period.

I don't think that's the message everyone is trying to send (that she deserved it), but rather, we all know what happens when you escape and run from a cop. We don't really have any idea what would have happened if that same cop grabbed her instead.

I'm not agreeing with what he did, but I'm certainly not defending that girl either.

I am usually very critical of police brutality and police misconduct. In this case, I think the officer was justified in the use of the tazer. She was running toward a busy road and could have caused a wreck and the deaths of others, tackling her could have produced the same results of a hard fall to the concrete. Most of us have seen hard hits to the head on this site that does not lead to severe injury. I've seen some skateboard wipeouts on concrete worse than this and they walked away.

I think cops taser people far too much, if the fatasses would lose some weight they might have a chance at catching a tiny girl. But whatever, I hope they donated her organs.
