Cop Shoots 14 Yo Guy, Carrying an Airsoft Gun, in His Shoulder

The dashcam shows some people approaching the police car once the officer arrives, and hear him say "let me see your hands."

After the command was given, shots were fired and the teenagers ran away.

What the police officer didn't know was the teen was carrying an airsoft gun, which is a replica firearm that fires pellets.

The officer shot the teen in the shoulder.

Prosecutors have cleared the officer of any wrong doing, but the victim's family is still planning a lawsuit.

If he REALLY thought it was a REAL AK47, why would he drive RIGHT up to them where he would be turned into swiss cheese versus a distance away and yell commends? Trigger happy much?

Well, it is understandable every cop will react the same way if they see the gun. Gun is a gun and that smart azz desided that it is a good idea to carry it around
