Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
What's the point. You have an anti-police and anti-authority agenda. It's pointless to discuss these issues with you. I look at these incidents from a purely logical perspective and you look at them from an emotional perspective. No matter what I say or what inside information or outlook I bring to the table it's immediately shot down, dismissed, made fun of, or ignored...so what's the point. I can tell you exactly what's happened, what's going to happen, and why it'll happen, and no one reads my comments. They just keep saying the same stupid uninformed things over and over. It's like every comment is made in a vacuum...commenting over and over when no one pays any attention just makes my blood pressure go up and accomplishes nothing. No one what's to hear from someone like me...it's more fun just to spout off with a preconceived agenda or with the usual leftist uneducated/uninformed shit.

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
all of your comments are read... see, i think a huge part of the problem in the US police force is that there are too many police who look at their job in a 'purely logical way'.....but police deal with people and so that will never work.... a balance needs to be struck (which of course most officers get right most of the time) but when they get it wrong people get hurt or imprisoned, their lives are ruined and all because someone couldn't think for themselves or worse, let their ego run them instead of thinking.... people tend to have an anti asshole agenda, whether it's cops, politicians, gangsters or any other asshole.....the majority of videos in this section show assholes...assholes with badges and guns.... people have had enough of unthinking egomaniac assholes with badges and guns |

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
see, the way you come across here is like this.... it seems to me that because you were once a cop that you will defend pretty much every action taken by an officer no matter how brazen or out of line he is....that's like me, a jeweller of 23 years defending the industry i work in 100% even though i and everybody else knows that the industry is corrupt to the core.... sometimes it's better to accept the fact that things are not the way we wish they were....that this is not a perfect world and that our chosen professions are filled with morally corrupt assholes...unfortunately for the police their morally corrupt get filmed and shamed these days whereas in my industry it's still all kept very quiet as the core of the industry doesn't deal with the public.... |

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
I don't defend them, I just tell you what's happened, why it's happened, and what's going to happen based on my experience, education, and current consulting practice. I also tell you what defense, excuse, or reason that they'll use and what laws, department protocols, and common industry practices are. I don't defend anyone...unless they pay me for my advise. At this point in my life, I could really careless about fixing anything in law enforcement...I'm too old, tired, cranky, and sick of the paranoid anti-police rabble. And frankly, without tooting my own horn, I make too damn much money advising departments, officers, and lawyers of what they or their client did wrong and how to mitigate any issues to care about proactive training...but if you'll pay me enough, I'll do it with a smile. You're very naive with regard to American law enforcement and our justice system. It would be virtually impossible to live up to your ideals and standards of what police should do or how they should react. There isn't a police organization of justice system on earth that you'd be happy with...it just doesn't exist. I live in the real world where humans fuck up by the numbers and do stupid things. Nothing is perfect...but I'm just sick of trying to explain things to folks that have no concept of what they're talking about. Everyone's an expert when it comes to law enforcement. I'm just sick of having to say the something over and over again...it's like groundhog day...it just never ends. Every time some newby comes on DR, I'm forced to defend my professional experience and education...it gets really old. You'd think I'd claimed to be an astronaut or Navy SEAL with the way folks on here question that I was a cop. I never knew being a cop was such an impressive thing...but for some it's just too impressive to believe. In fact, more people question my past profession than question me having a PhD. Who new. No one wants to hear what I have to say...it's spoils the fun of just railing against the police and saying stupid things...now not only are the foreign police bashers beating their drum, but I have folks that can't read and write in English giving mesh it for my comments. It's just getting too silly. Let's just all hate and denounce the police...that's what everyone wants to do anyway. Have at it.

And those comments are exactly why it's pointless to debate with you. We're talking about folks lives and livelihoods (that you, by the way, feel the need to comment on constantly) and now you're making dick jokes like a ten year old. That pretty well sums up my point.
