Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
Wow Oswald I must have really made you mad in the earlier posts LOL sorry I talked about you your cop buddies. You are really entertaining when I come on here, you crack me up. It's funny how you know what kind of attitude I have and know me so well as a person, shit you know me more than I know myself, right, Mr Oswald? If your calling the people I'm sharing my thoughts with "Scum", you're one of them, "scum". I don't get pulled over anymore as a matter of fact? but between the time I was 17 to 21 I would get harassed. Example: one day coming from a doctors appointment I come to a four way stop sign. There's an officer to my right in his cruiser approaching the four way as well. I stop, I go. there's two cars behind me while I'm driving down the road. All of a sudden like a bat out of hell the cop flys behind me, comes to jerking stop. Run up to my car and opens my door, at this point I throw my hands in the air as he's slowly grabbing me to the back of the car, I'm asking him what's going on, I was in shock. He finally says "I looked like I was rolling up weed" when I got to the stop sign. Put my hands on the car, he searches me then tells me he's going to search my car. searches the inside of my car. goes through my glove box too(while he makes me stand with my legs spread, hands on the car). This is how I got treated when I got pulled over many times in the past. Not illusions facts and real life situations. Thanks for reading scum. |

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
I'm not fat...nor do I have (nor have I ever had) a power complex. Why must you generalize? I'm nothing like that sergeant, either in training, temperament, education, attitude, height, weight, hair (or lack there of...), experience, stature, age, etc. Why do you anti-police folks always love to generalize about police? It's just stupid. The guy fucked up and he was forced to retire...leave it alone. Those two boobs who filmed him are jackasses that were looking to bait some rural police bumkin into reacting just like this sergeant did so they could post it on YouTube. They didn't do what they did for a higher purpose...they did it because they thought it was funny and to put it on YouTube and get some attention. Otherwise they would have quietly turned the recording over to that agency's internal affairs unit and let the chips fall where they may. But those two assholes posted it first, then someone saw it and notified the chief of police. They wanted exactly what happened to happened...they baited that cop and he bit...for whatever reason. The sergeant served the public faithfully for at least twenty-five years, right up until two overgrown delinquents intentionally put him into a compromising position. The sergeant was stupid, but what those two did was wrong.

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
this is the way of the world these days...you can't trust the police to investigate incidents like this so make it public so they can't cover it up and have no choice but to react.... most people get better at their jobs as time goes by...you would think that a 25 year veteran would know how to handle a situation b etter than someone who's been in the force for only 2 years.... and 'dealing with people' is no excuse.....people in hospitality and retail get better at their jobs (generally) the longer they remain in their sectors, why should it be different for cops? people are sick of police bullshit and that's why there is so little respect for the force and also why people are using the technology available to keep out of line cops in line.... |

How were they trying to bate he officer by not wanting to have their car searched? I think everyone should record every single interaction with the police, because this happens all the time.. |

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
There was nothing about those two dipshits that was altruistic, they were fucking around and secretly filmed the sergeant doing something stupid. Why were they pulled over in the first place? Why was there a supervisor on scene? I'll bet money that sergeant wasn't the initial contacting officer...why was he there? Could it have been that the two assholes were being stupid and the initial contacting officer called for backup and a supervisor? If so...then that sergeant would have been a little pissed off at the two retards to begin with. There are many ways to refuse a search and conduct one's self...those two seemed like real smart asses and that probably lit the already simmering fuse of that sergeant. Not saying his reaction was correct...I just think those two goaded him into that position. I'm not saying that refusing to allow a police officer to search your vehicle is anything but your God given right. If officer's are too stupid or unimaginative to find probable cause or reasonable suspicion...then they don't deserve to search your vehicle. It's just this new bullshit playing constitutional lawyer game that's getting very old. Every snot nosed hipster now thinks he's an attorney. The way they act is going to piss off even the most mild mannered officer and make things worse. If I had been that sergeant I wouldn't have gotten mad, I'd have gotten smart and still got to search the vehicle and with a little luck...even made an arrest or two. I think a good police officer should be better schooled on the law, policy, and how to get around some dumbass with an agenda and still succeed. |

Re: Cop Resigned & Charged After Slapping a Man Whose Car He Wanted to Search
By the way...I think video taping every police contact is stupid and highly paranoid...and sort of pitiful. I think it says far more about you than it does about law enforcement in general. Just because police occasionally screw up (as does everyone else) is no reason to basically expect trouble with the police at every turn. I've got to wonder what you're doing (or have done) to warrant such paranoia of having a bad contact with police. All you're doing by filming the police is appearing as anti-police and a potential threat. Relax and treat each police officer as you find them...not as you expect them to be. Stop making generalizations and relax. the percentage of misconduct by American law enforcement is infinitesimal in comparison to the number of public contacts.
