Cop Kicks and Stamps on a Man’s Head During an Arrest
July, 2024. A video showing a British police officer kick and stamp on a man’s head during an arrest at Manchester Airport in northern England sparked a protest outside a police station. Police suspended one of the officers involved and referred the actions to an independent police complaints watchdog after the video, filmed by an onlooker, was posted on social media platforms and attracted criticism. It showed a chaotic scene in an airport parking lot, in which several officers armed with tasers restrained two suspects. The events preceding this scene were not included in the video. One man was kicked and stamped on by an officer as he lay face down on the floor. The second man also appeared to be struck in the head by an officer. A lawyer representing the men accused the police of brutality and said a scan showed one had a cyst on the brain and his medical condition had worsened overnight. In a statement, the police force said the video showed “an event that is truly shocking, and that people are rightly extremely concerned about. The use of such force in an arrest is an unusual occurrence and one that we understand creates alarm.” The "unit of white officers" used a level of force against the group of Asian people that was "totally excessive," former chief superintendent of London’s Metropolitan Police, Dal Babu, said in an interview with BBC Radio 4. "I think racism played a significant part in this," Babu said. He added that he was further concerned that Manchester Police had put forward a senior Asian officer to address the public, rather than Chief Constable Stephen Watson, calling it "cynical attempt" to signal that they were dealing with the issue. "You can count on one hand the number of senior Asian officers in the Greater Manchester Police," Babu said. What happened before: It began with a dispute during a flight from Qatar. The mother of the two brothers involved (Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammed Amaad) alleged she was racially harassed by another passenger. ![]() Upon landing at Terminal 2, the brothers confronted the man in a Starbucks. CCTV showed one brother delivering a headbutt. When police attempted to arrest the brothers near a car park pay machine, a violent struggle ensued. Later-released footage showed the brothers punching and grounding several officers. One female officer suffered a broken nose, and others sustained head injuries. Police claimed they feared their firearms might be taken during the struggle. The legal fallout has seen the focus shift from the police officers to the prosecution of the brothers. In December 2024, the Crown Prosecution Service announced that no criminal charges would be brought against the police officers involved, concluding there was no realistic prospect of conviction regarding their use of force. PC Zachary Marsden, who was suspended following the video, had his suspension lifted after the CPS decision, though he may still face internal disciplinary proceedings by the Independent Office for Police Conduct. In July 2025, a jury at Liverpool Crown Court found Mohammed Fahir Amaaz guilty of three charges. Two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) against two female police officers and one count of common assault against a member of the public in the earlier Starbucks confrontation. A jury was unable to reach a verdict on whether the brothers assaulted PC Marsden himself. A retrial for both brothers regarding the alleged assault on PC Zachary Marsden was scheduled to begin on April 13, 2026 and is expected to last approximately five weeks. |

They look all nice in their suits and ties but are raging with hatred inside. A great people they are. Send them back to Afghanistan so they can live in caves and behave accordingly. |
