WACO (December 29, 2010) A Waco store clerk said he thinks he shot one of two men who broke into his business on an early Wednesday morning.

Amar Kayeh said he was working the late shift early morning when the two men, dressed in black, burst into the store with guns out.

The robbery happened at around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday at the Fiesta Smoke Shop at 2426 Bosque Boulevard.

"They just walked in with their guns up and all. First I didn't think anything of it, I was shocked really." Kayeh said.

In dramatic surveillance video, you can see the two men point their guns at Kayeh and another worker.

"I knew what they wanted really so I opened up the cash register right away and waited for my chance to shoot them." Kayeh said.

Kayeh had a loaded gun under the counter.

He says the two robbers kept demanding he hand over the gun.

"I was just trying to avoid the question, so every time he asked, I said take some cigarettes, take some money over here."

Kayeh says as the two were about to leave, he finally saw a chance to strike.

He said he grabbed the silver and black gun and shot at the suspects until they ran out.

"If you don't shoot, every day you will have somebody in here trying to rob you, so I wanted to make an example out of them." Kayeh said.

"I don't want to be no easy bait." he said.

I agree with the clerk. Once someone pulls a gun on you and puts a gun in your face all bets are off. The clerk didn't know if the ghetto bandits (holding their guns sideways) would have shot them.

I hope the clerk emptied his clip (or in this case) all his rounds and critically wounded one of the pieces of shit.
