On June 20th, in the Xincheng Lijing residential community of Hanyang District, Wuhan, China, a man surnamed Lu stabbed his employer, who had refused to pay his wages. After the ambulance arrived, Lu, still furious, rushed forward and stabbed the employer several more times.

A police officer drew his gun and fired, but the pistol failed to discharge. In the end, Lu surrendered after being subdued by an officer wielding a baton.
