CBS Engineer John Marschitz Hit by Rubber Bullet, Minneapolis, May 30, 2020
CBS News sound engineer John Marschitz was struck in the arm by a police rubber bullet while covering protests in Minneapolis on May 30, 2020. Shortly after the 8 p.m. curfew began, police used tear gas on a crowd, and the crew retreated to a parking lot where its car was parked. Officers fired from several hundred feet away. Another round struck a camera light without damaging it. Correspondent Michael George said the crew was at least 500 feet from any protesters and attributed the gunfire to Minneapolis police. The firing agency was not confirmed. Marschitz said the crew had credentials displayed and cameras out. Video shows distant officers and the television crew in the parking lot, with no protesters visible. In November 2021, Marschitz said his arm still hurt more than 17 months after the incident.

That’s what they get for fanning the flames on a hometown that they turned into a war zone. They weren’t sighting anyone in, Those were warning shots. |

Re: CBS Engineer John Marschitz Hit by Rubber Bullet, Minneapolis, May 30, 2020
Almost every single video in this section shows just a small sample of what took place. Like many of the "The Police attacked peaceful protesters". When the truth likely is those protesters, or media, were told several times to clear an area, to move. And they refused. Its not rocket science. When Police say to clear the area, like 10 times. Expect to see some force used on you when you refuse. This has become nothing more than the Rosa Parks strategy. Those who don't know, Rosa Parks did the I'm not giving up my seat on the bus, and became the face of a Civil Rights movement. What many don't know is it was all a staged act. She and a group of activists planned it all out. Now we are seeing this being done everyday in every city. These "protesters" are creating and making these confrontations happen. Wh |
