As an Oakland Park (FL) woman sat in her living room watching TV, a creepy burglar slowly made his way through her back patio and into her kitchen, where he quietly grabbed the woman's purse and then crept out of the house.

The unnerving incident happened about 7:20 p.m. last Saturday in the 3400 block of Northwest 20th Avenue and was recorded on the woman's home surveillance system.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating.

They said Evelyn Pignataro, the 61-year-old burglary victim, called the Sheriff's Office to report that her purse had been stolen, not realizing right away that a burglar snatched it from her home as she sat just a few feet away, investigators said.

Guys like this sure pick the right homes. I often think I'm paranoid but I keep my .45 Ruger on the floor when I'm home but my doors and windows are secure unlike this silly woman so this will never happen.
