a couple was gunned down inside the El Rinconcito Colombiano restaurant, located on the 30th block of Universitaria Avenue, on the border with Los Olivos. The attack, which occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m., left one man dead and one woman injured.

According to reports, the attackers arrived on two motorcycles, consisting of at least four individuals. One of them entered the premises wearing a helmet, and another even carried a delivery backpack, allowing them to go unnoticed before unleashing indiscriminate gunfire.

Witnesses and neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots, causing panic among diners and passersby. At the crime scene, investigators counted more than 30 bullet casings, both inside and outside the restaurant, suggesting the use of multiple firearms.

The deceased died at the same establishment. The woman who was with him, initially identified as his sister and a foreign national, was rushed to Cayetano Heredia Hospital with gunshot wounds. It has been reported that the deceased young man was apparently from Armenia.

According to local media, National Police officers, including the Los Halcones specialized unit and the Sol de Oro police station, cordoned off the area to conduct initial investigations. Surveillance cameras captured the moment of the attack, and the videos are now in the hands of detectives from the San Martín de Porres Police Department, who are leading the investigation.
