Nov 30, 2008 The search continued Saturday for those responsible for 2 violent robberies at Dunkin' Donuts shops last week that left 5 injured.
Though the robberies were very similar, authorities Saturday still would not say whether they thought the incidents -- in Tamarac on Thursday night and Delray Beach on Wednesday night -- were related.
Both robberies were recorded on surveillance video, but investigators don't have a specific description of the assailants because they wore black hooded sweaters, gloves and masks.
In the Delray Beach robbery about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, one of the four gunmen shot three customers who were on the floor before leaving and then shot at a man's windshield as they crossed in front of his car, wounding the driver, police said.
The elderly customers enjoying their meal were hit in the head, chin and leg but are expecting a full recovery.
