Brazil – Cop Kills a Robber Struggling with Hotel Clerk
I dont think the last shot was necessary, but thats easy to say when your not in the situation. The thief had a gun too i suppose... From site: "The video is a CCTV footage of an attempted robbery at a reception desk of a Sao Paolo hotel. The hotel clerk is approached by a man who later appears to pull out a handgun and clearly asks for money. The hotel clerk doesn’t seem disturbed much – must have lived in Brazil for a while and already used to everyone carrying a gun. The clerk eventually opens the drawer for the robber to browse through it. Later on, this weird robbery situation continues with the robber calmly returning to the reception followed by a cop. From what I understand, this was a rookie cop in his first week of duty. You can tell from the video that he’s reluctant with his gun and his hands are shaking. The robber uses the hotel clerk as a barrier between himself and the rookie cop, but the cop eventually mans up and fires in what appears to be quite a reckless shot – he could have easily put a bullet in the clerk too. With the robber going down, the cop fires a few more shots ultimately killing the robber." |
