That wasn’t just speeding. Speeding is driving 50 mph in a 40 mph zone. 95 mph is flying. The PO had no way of identifying an unmarked car at that speed. The big question is, why was Major Johnson driving that fast when he was not on an emergency call and did not have his emergency lights on? He’s in plain clothes like he had just come from a ballgame, obviously NOT coming from work because he doesn’t know if he has his radio with him or not. I didn’t think Officer Sohn had an attitude during the initial stop, and certainly did not go off on a diatribe like Johnson accused him of. We all know cops get away with things regular civilians do not. Johnson’s just pissed he got busted and then blew the whole thing WAY out of proportion. I hope his Captain laid into his ass and Sohn was commended for attempting to do his job.  |
