This Australian would-be burglar, tried to escape from a bakery storeroom.
The aspiring thief tried – and failed - over and over again to sneak away through a storeroom skylight and to make matters worse, his bungled bid for freedom has been caught on camera.

The catastrophic crook eventually escaped from the bakery in the Melbourne suburb of Frankston but left empty-handed as the shop was closed for the holidays.
And after footage was released of the 19-year-old looking straight into the camera, the man has handed himself into local police.

At one point on the video the hapless crook could even be seen using a mobile phone, presumably in a bid to contact a friend for help.
He eventually made it out of the bakery but with a gash on his head, a large dose of embarrassment and not a bit of literal or figurative dough for his trouble.
Police released the footage of the laughable escape attempt and the man from Somerville handed himself into police.
He has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of criminal damage.
