Weslaco police are asking for the public's help in solving a string of convenience store robberies.
Investigators said that the men went to great lengths to take nothing cigarettes, beer and small amounts of cash.
Weslaco police said one robbery happened around 1 a.m. Sunday at a Stripes store off Bridge Avenue and 8th Street.
Surveillance cameras caught the suspect wearing a white painters suit and a ski mask.
Police said he pointed a black gun at the clerk and demanded money while customers looked on unsure of what to do.
Police said the clerk did right by not confronting the gunman.
Another robbery happened around 4 a.m. Saturday at a Stripes off Business 83 and Border Avenue.
One of the suspects threatened the clerk at knifepoint while the other went to the back of the store to pick up beer.
Both men took off with an unknown amount of money, beer and cigarettes.
