This is just some more crazy FAFO behavior, but I wanted to include an "eye witness" interview clip. She got herself on the news and demonstrated how un-reliable most eye witness accounts really can be... oh, and I'm certain she is totally unbiased toward cops too.

BTW, this guy completely deserved to get shot, but I'm more relieved that the dog didn't get shot.

YUMA, (April 12, 2024) — An investigation is underway after a suspect was shot by Yuma police officers on Friday morning.

The situation began just after 7 a.m. when officers responded to a disturbance call at a home near 10th Street and Magnolia Avenue. According to Yuma police, a 30-year-old was threatening to kill the people who lived there and their dog.

When officers arrived, police say the man continued “being disorderly” by displaying several weapons and threatening them. The suspect reportedly refused commands by officers and continued walking towards area homes while armed with weapons.

Police say officers then attempted less-lethal options, including a Taser, before the suspect “threatened the officers with the weapon.” That’s when police opened fire.

Officers rendered aid to the man until paramedics arrived, and he was taken to the hospital. His current condition is unknown, and his name has not been released.
