Angry Woman Smashes Windows of Bronx Restaurant Because They're Out of Beef
You can say she had a beef over a lack of beef. A woman is wanted for smashing out the glass windows and doors of a Bronx restaurant after being told they had run out of Jamaican beef patties. The enraged woman is seen walking up to the windows of "Back Home Restaurant" in the Morrisania neighborhood and attacking the windows with an aluminum bat. It happened on Tuesday, January 15 at about 4:20 p.m. The woman, who is reportedly a regular, went in and ordered a beef patty. When an employee told her that they were out of them she became upset and started yelling. She left but returned a short time later with the bat and started smashing out all of the glass windows. No one was hurt but the woman has not been caught. She is described as black, thin build, and had long black braided hair. She was last seen wearing a black and white fur hooded winter jacket, black leggings, black and white sneakers and carrying a multi-colored aluminum baseball bat. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Police say that all calls are strictly confidential. |
