Agent 47 Killed By Agent 48 Chased and shot dead in broad daylight in the Parque Alvorada I neighborhood, in Luziânia (GO). Adair Pereira de Araújo, 47, was a candidate for councilor of the municipality of Goiás in 2024. Affiliated with the Progressistas (PP), Adair Araújo had 408 votes and ended up not securing a seat in the Luziânia City Council, remaining as an alternate. Adair was also a lawyer and was regularly enrolled in the Goiás Section of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). His professional address was on Dr. Neylo Rolim Street, a few meters from where he was killed, in the Parque Alvorada I neighborhood. Before the candidacy, Adair used to post fitness and amateur soccer content. The news of the cruel death moved followers. Adair was killed in front of a motel in the region. Video circulating on social media shows the moment when a man in a light T-shirt, dark jeans and flip-flops gets out of a silver Fiat Punto and runs armed after Adair.
