Accused Pedophile Shot and Killed by Phoenix Cops
Accused pedophile, James Glenn (56) skipped his court appearance date where he was scheduled to stand trial for 15 felony counts, incl. sexual conduct with 2 underage girls, both 13 years old. On the morning of June 11, 2026, Glenn cut off his GPS ankle monitor and failed to appear in court for the final day of his trial. Members of the Phoenix Police Department's Fugitive Apprehension Investigative Detail and K-9 Unit located Glenn driving an SUV later that evening. Shortly before 6:00 p.m., an officer utilized a vehicle pursuit intervention tool known as a grappler to trap Glenn's rear tire near 23rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road. Another officer pinned Glenn's driver-side door closed with an unmarked truck to block his escape. While contained inside the vehicle, Glenn raised a handgun and pointed it at officers. Two officers opened fire, striking Glenn. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers or bystanders were injured. Despite his absence, the judge issued a bench warrant and the jury proceeded to find him guilty on all 15 felony counts, incl. sexual conduct with a minor. He was immediately deemed a non-bondable fugitive facing a likely life sentence. |
