4 Hacked by Masked Group At Restaurant

10.01.2025 - Four men were injured when a group of masked individuals wielded machetes at a restaurant in Nilai last night. Five masked men, suspected to be locals, were filmed riding in a vehicle, before stopping and rushing towards four men who were drinking at 9.40pm. Nilai Police Chief Abdul Malik Hasim said all the injured victims were taken to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban for treatment.

“We were informed by members of the public who said that four local men aged 44 to 59 were attacked. It was carried out by a group of men while the victims were at a restaurant,” he said according to Harian Metro.

He said the victim’s condition was now stable and the motive for the attack was still under investigation. According to him, the case is being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons and Section 326 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm with weapons. He asked the public with any information to contact the nearest police station or the Nilai IPD at 06-7902222.
