During the violent robbery at the S and P convenience store on Coalshaw Green Road in Chadderton, a shop worker had a finger badly cut by a sword belonging to one of the suspects.
CCTV of the incident shows 3 masked robbers swinging a hunting knife and a small Samurai sword at two shop workers as they try to open the till.
When one of the employees raised his hands to defend himself, his finger was almost severed by the sword, but was later stitched back on at hospital.
The second worker was slashed by a knife and needed stitches to his arm.
Once the till was opened, the robbers grabbed the shop's cash and fled.
The suspects are described as white men in their late teens to early 20s who were wearing dark hooded clothing.
The Samurai sword-weilding suspect was wearing a dark Adidas T-shirt with a motif on the front.
