3 Injured when Bomb Package Explodes at Desk of Luxury Residential Complex
A package left at the reception desk of a luxury residential complex in Turkey exploded upon being opened, injuring three people. Six people were arrested in connection with the incident, and it was revealed that the bomb-laden package, (seems like fireworks to me) was sent due to a debt dispute. The package was left at the reception desk by a person wearing a helmet exploded at 1:36 PM on Saturday, January 10th, when its recipient, J.H, opened it. J.H. and two security guards at the complex were injured in the incident. The Istanbul Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch and Intelligence Branch conducted an investigation into the explosion. During their investigation, the teams apprehended the courier, E.C, who delivered the cargo package, and also identified the communication network using the GSM line used to request the cargo. Investigations revealed that the phone line was obtained using someone else's information, and S.A, A.Ç, A.A, and M.K. who were involved in this process, along with C.G, who was found to have helped M.K hide, were apprehended. During questioning, it was determined that MK had delivered the cargo package to the courier, that there was animosity between him and J.H, who was injured in the incident, due to a debt dispute, and that this was the reason for his actions.
