15 Year Old Boy Killed + Set Alight
In Canarana in the early hours of 7th July 2018, 15 year old Rodrigo Martins Bueno was killed. ARRESTED: Washington Rodrigo Silva Maia Diego Silva Maia Samuel da Silva Santos Samuel stated that the day before, he had been drinking + then went to a bar with Diego + Washington. Samuel said that he was asked if he wanted to go pick up Rodrigo who was out on the street on a bike. He agreed. After knocking Rodrigo out, they put him inside a car + took him to his death destination. On the way, Rodrigo was struggling inside the car + he tried to convince them that they had been mistaken + he's not the boy they're after. Samuel states that he did not participate in the murder. He said that Diego + Washington hit Rodrigo several times. Diego then pulled out a pocketknife + cut Rodrigo's neck. Next they poured petrol all over the boy + set him alight, whilst still alive. It's possible that they also decapitated him. Samuel, Diego + Washington are all related. The latter 2 dropped Samuel home + told him to keep quiet, he did not though + told his family what had happened. Someone from his family burned all the clothes the 3 wore during the murder. Samuel states that he believes the motive of the crime was a fight that took place a few months ago between Diego + 5 other young people. Diego had said that he'd kill each of the 5 people, one by one. However, Rodrigo was not one of those 5 people + the his murder was a case of mistaken identity. The body of Rodrigo was found in a cornfield with a gunshot wound to his forehead along with the cuts to his neck + burns to his body. *I was going to post this in the death pic section but there's no video of the murder (well if there is, I haven't come across it) + the only corpse photo I could find is censored.     |

No idea. One article stated that they managed to decapitate him. I'm assuming that after they knocked him out + bundled him in the car to where they killed him, they shot him in the head, then decapitated him (or just slashed at his neck), then set him alight. Or they started to try + decapitate him, then maybe it was taking to long so they shot him dead + finished him decapitating afterwards, then set him alight. Someone else might be able to take away more from news article than I did, haha! |
