The British SLR (pre the SA 80/L85) used to bite back at your eye with the iron sights if they where set too far back for you build and would leave two cuts in yer grid fer ye!

Ahhhh the days of proper rifles with 7.62 as standard....shame thay got classed as inhumane, why? because it could fire through walls and fill the other player with brick dust and crap, thus causing contamination of the wound. Also it was a bit too powerful as the round would travel so fast and true it would often go right through the victim and barely register on their pumped up system.

The smaller 5.56 NATO is designed to travel slower and "tumble" thus causing far greater internal damage and putting the fucker down on the deck quicker...and that is apparently more humane!
