WOW, What a Great Deal!
I just had to laugh. 1971, keep that in mind when you see the price. Even in today's dollars that's insane but in 71 it would of had the same buying power as $2,092 today. It doesn't even have a memory key... LOfuckingL

That was before Clive Sinclair crashed prices to the floor with his (mostly) shitty quality build-yourself kits here in England. His calculators were good for what they were, as were the later computers for less than £100. |

I bought the knock off version in 1973 for $274.99! It could only add or subtract to 100 correctly half of the time but it was sparkly and shiny and we stared at it for months at a time not even looking up to see what we were walking into and only pausing to charge it up to it's car battery sized charger and we were proud of it, the whole neighborhood was! It was made by Shart! |
