Re: The Worest Day of This Guy's Life, (his Spelling)
Drivers do that a lot. They run over people and don't stop. I've had two kids run into my car and they made my my heart pound. I jumped out of the car. The one child's mother saw what happened, and I was going slowly because I was aware of the children on our street. He didn't fall or anything, but, he came from between parked cars into mine. Another one, just recently, came with a group of 5 other kids on bikes as quickly as I looked the other way at a Stop sign. Scared the Hell out of me! Again, I stopped the car. He slid, but, got right up. I asked if he was alright. Kids need to learn how to ride bikes safely. Had I not been driving, with the way people are now, the first boy could have been killed! They race to Stop signs and lights! I don't get why! You are wasting gas and your brakes. |

True, and in fact, the driver could not have seen the man on the ground on that position I think. here we are very much pushed to do 'eco-driving courses as many of us drive company cars' and I always realise at those classes how dangerous we drive sometimes. |
