A video has emerged of a woman slamming a hammer in to a BMW car in Shenzhen, China.

The woman caught on camera by a bystander, used a hammer to smash up the car that she said, was used to carry the woman having an affair with her husband.

In the video, the woman can be seen striking the car doors repeatedly with a hammer.

According to local news reports, the woman refused to be persuaded to stop by security guards as she claimed to be the owner of the car.

She said it had become "dirty" after it was used by her husband's lover.
The incident lasted around 20 minutes before she left the car park.
