Most prisons in the UK are like summer camp too (unless you're a peado). Games consoles and TVs in your cells, pool tables and games rooms, drugs on tap, and short as fuck sentences. There are some that are mandatory 23 hour lockdown though. But even then I've heard from people I know that have been inside that it's so easy it doesn't even feel like punishment.

Not really. It's every man for himself in UK jails. There's not a gang problem in the UK in the way there is in the US. Yeah sure, you have your 'groups' of kids that grew up on the same estates that call themselves gangs, but it's nothing like the scale of gangs in other countries. They'll be about 50 strong max. The worst 'gang cuture' you're likely to experience in the UK is the Yardies in Bristol and London. They control a lot of drug deals and sell guns throughout the UK, but they won't cause trouble unless they're fucked with.
