Re: The Top Ten Worst Infomercial Products

I see nothing particularly wrong with The Snuggie other than the way it is advertised. Same with the audio reminder. It's just the overplayed, crappy acting that makes me facepalm. But I seriously anyone would want to take a piss in a golf club, or wipe their arse with an squeegee extension handle.

Re: The Top Ten Worst Infomercial Products

The extention handle went mainstream as legitimate durable medical equipment aid for people with reduced mobility. You should be able to find them in any drug/chemist shop where similar products are located or any of these on-line or catalog vendors selling aids for older folks.

Yes. I've seen them in several catalogs for that purpose.

There is a wide variety of items for limited mobility.

The inventor made big bucks with that Snuggie!

The people in the audio reminder ads are annoying and very bad actors!

The radio mike. I remember a Simpsons episode. The boy who cried wolf, with Sting doing a cameo. Showed the 'toon version of the episode.
