My brother did that once, which was followed by me slapping him so hard he fell off of his chair, shut up and sat quietly back up on the chair and ate his dinner.

Let me tell you - If I EVER behaved in such a manner, growin up, my father cracked my ass the other way! Oh, and that's if he got to me BEFORE my momma, 'cuz she woulda pimp-smacked me so hard I woulda forgot how ta cry! My kids DO NOT act like this! My eldest girl tried it once. ONCE! The others learned VERY QUICKLY by way of her example how tantrums are dealt with in our family. They may not like some of the rules, or the word "no", but I'm proud to say they DON'T react that way! They have more respect for their parents, themselves and those around them. A child will only behave like that if the parent allows it. |
