we cleaned a snapper to eat years ago, took the head and legs, split the shell, gutted/cleaned it and took a tiny piece of muscle off, and after a half hour, it was still moving. After death reflexes are not the same as still being alive. that snake was dead. The fish... yeah that was still alive. SICK.
