wierd in America one man works and everyone else just watches....they take turns...

I think they are actually just making bricks. They are laid out like this so they dry quickly. The guys who do this in India and other countries get paid about 3 pence per day. Often their kids start doing it at a young age also to bring in money so most of them are illiterate.
