Re: Skilled Drummer
Eh, once a drummer like that used to play with me an my band (some time ago): the only technical hitch was that whenever he did hit the bottle you had to look for some of his lost drumsticks every four-five minutes, and sometimes it was a very hard task; once he managed to throw one into a swimming pool, with peeps swimming inside, eheheh. Seriously, it's visually impressive, but about the 50% of what you hear is done by his right foot hitting the bass drum: plus, if you look carefully, you'll notice that he uses only his right arm to hit the Hi-hat, while he just juggles with the left one, but not a single hit. And he uses his left foot two times, just to open the Hi-hat. Not saying he's not a good drummer (I have no clue because I don't know him), just saying that it's more ordinary than what it might look to be at first glance: spectacular for sure, but technically questionable so to say.
