Skateboarding takes skill! I agree!

But skateboarding down a busy suburban sidewalk is stupid! What if that SUV had been a cement truck?

Or even worse, what if an old lady had come around the corner on that sidewalk at just the right moment? What was the kid going to do - apologize to her for breaking her hip, along with half of the other bones in her body - after he plowed right through her?

Skateboarding is cool! But skateboarding responsibly can save more lives than just your own!
