When I'm traveling down town where I am sure to encounter homeless people I carry several McDonalds gift cards. Each one has $10 on it. I pass them out instead of money.

that's very generous of you. i have given homemade cookies and juice to them b4 and some accepted but most asked for spare change instead.

its illegal now here in indianapolis to panhandle money from people like that...some lady was nice enough to give some guy some money and he car jacked her a gun point.
